Dear See’s Customers,
It's hard to believe that we are heading into the last few months of our year-long Centennial celebration! It has been a banner year, to say the least, and I’m confident we will finish it out strong. We have so much to look forward to here at See’s as we approach the holiday season. Personally, it's my favorite time of year to be in the business of making and selling joy!
In honor of our 100th anniversary, we have launched a new Limited-Time Sweet at the beginning of every month, and I hope you are enjoying each one as much as I am. In August, we released the highly requested Dark Salted Caramel, and this month’s sweet is extra special. To celebrate our incredible founder, Mary See, during her birthday month and amidst our Centennial, we've launched a festive new flavor--Birthday Cake! It's golden vanilla buttercream, deliciously draped in rich white chocolate and topped with a dash of rainbow candy sprinkles…perfect for the occasion! And as it is only available through September 2021, be sure to celebrate Mary with a piece of our take on Birthday Cake while it's here!
Speaking of Mary, and in such a momentous time for See's, I can’t help but think even more often of her motto, Quality Without Compromise, which she established during the company’s formative years. She set the bar high, and we are honored to continue upholding See’s to these elevated standards. Of course, she gave us the literal recipe for success as well...Did you know we still make several of our confections with her original recipes, such as our Peanut Brittle? They truly can’t be improved upon!
And then before you know it, we will be announcing the finalist of “What’s Your Sweet Idea?”! Giving our customers the opportunity to not only submit their delicious ideas for the November Centennial piece, but to also vote for your favorite was just a crazy notion in my head only a year ago. That's why you, our loyal customers, are key to See’s history and success as you jumped at the opportunity to submit flavor ideas for us to consider. We had over 12,000 entries and over 45,000 votes for the winning submission! I can't say much more about what the chosen piece is, but I'm sure you will be as thrilled as I am with the winner--I will even go out on a limb and say that it may be my new favorite!
Lastly, and with the holiday season quickly approaching, we hope you will consider See’s for all of your gifting needs. We’ve got you covered for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and more. Behind the scenes, we are ensuring every possible way to get our candies to you as efficiently as possible. Our shops and online experience are always standing by. And now, we offer DoorDash for local delivery from shops, in addition our very convenient Click, Pick, and Go service to order ahead and pick up in shops.
