Made in the 1980s, this Mother’s Day ad features some of the funny (and very, very true) things Moms often say. “Sit up straight.” “Don’t talk with your mouth full.” “Put that down! You don’t know where it’s been!”

Then, comes the ultimate clincher: “How could you forget her? Just a little reminder that Sunday, May the 13th is Mother’s Day. Why not show her it was not all in vain.” In other words, treat Mom to her favorite candies — she deserves it… all of it.

In the spirit of spring treats, here’s another hilariously accurate ad. This one shows an irresistible array of milk chocolate truffles, dark chocolate caramels and more with the headline: “We invite you to eat our entire spring collection” — emphasis on the “entire.” Everyone who loves our milk chocolates and dark chocolates knows how easy it is to devour a whole batch of them.
