Our focus has always been on you, our customers. And to take care of our customers, we take care of our team. Now, more than ever, our top priority is the health and safety of you and our employees. Thank you for your support through what has been a very tough year for all of us. We have continued to adapt with a shifting landscape, to ensure we adhere to Centers for Disease Control guidelines and state and local public health direction. Even before the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic on March 11, 2020, we had taken the necessary steps to stay informed and will continue to do so.
As vaccines become more widely available, and as the number of COVID-19 cases decline, it is understandable that many want to start to relax. Certain states and local governments have started to ease COVID-19 restrictions. We want to take this opportunity to let you know that See’s will continue to follow guidance from the CDC and prioritize the safety and the health of you and our employees first. We will maintain safety practices in the kitchens where we craft our American-made delicious candy and in our shops where we look forward to serving you each day.
See’s will continue to require customers wear masks while inside our shops in order to protect our employees and other customers. See’s is also providing employees every opportunity to be vaccinated and play our role to improve the health of the communities in which we live and work.
Our goal is to make our shopping experience as safe and comfortable as possible for both our employees, and you, our dedicated customers. In addition, we will continue to offer our alternative shopping options, such as Click → Pick → Go, which allows you to buy online and pick up your candy and chocolate at select shop, as well as DoorDash and online purchases on Sees.com to have your candy delivered.
Your support for our safety guidelines is deeply appreciated. We thank you for your understanding and commitment to See’s in what has likely been the most challenging years of the 100 that we've been serving joy. Looking forward, we will continue to monitor the evolving situation and be vigilant in maintaining a safe environment for all.
